Files may be submitted on CD ROM or DVD-Rom or posted to our ftp site (email the graphics
dept and request a copy of our FTP Instructions).

Files sent to us on disk should be accompanied by a hard copy proof. Files under 5mb may be submitted via e-mail attachment if sent directly to the art department (jklassen@prodisplayssd.com)

Files should be created at their final output size when possible and be no less than 72-120 pixels
per inch at their final output size. They may also be created at 1/2" or 1/4" scale with the
corresponding increases in resolution: For Example, a 24" x 36" poster can be designed as:
24 x 36 @ 72 ppi (pixels per inch) or
12 x 18 @ 144 ppi or
8 x 12 @ 288 ppi
The math would be the same for higher resolutions as well, only minimums are given in the
example.

Color Requirements: We can print from either CMYK or RGB files. However we recommend
submitting files as CMYK for optimal output.
For a deep, rich black in type (greater than 24pt.) and areas with black fills, black should be
defined as C=75, M=68, Y=67, B=94.
To minimize banding in gradients. While some banding in gradients is unavoidable, you can
minimize the effects if you will not use less than 2% or greater than 98% of any of the CMYK
colors used in the gradient mix. Create the gradient in Photoshop and add 2% gauzian noise.
(This will diffuse the color and result in less banding overall.)
